O'Hare Airport to the Fairmont Hotel

If you fly into O'Hare, a taxi downtown is about $40.00-$50.00.  

You can take CTA instead. The fare is $2.25, and it runs about every 15 minutes, 24hr/day.

a) Get on the Blue Line train (Forest Park - UIC) at the O'Hare station. Trip time is about 40 minutes.

b) Get off at the Clark stop and board the Orange Line (Midway) to Lake.

c) Walk a few blocks east to the end of Lake at Stetson St.

d) Turn north to South Water, east a block to Columbus, and south to the entrance. 
or
d) If before 7pm on a weekday, you can instead enter the Aon building at Lake & Stenson; walk down the stairs and take the tunnel to the Fairmont.

In either case, it's about a 10 minute walk. 

You can instead take the Blue Line to a CTA Bus that drops you off a block from the hotel.

b2) Take the Blue Line to Washington station.

c3) Take the CTA-60 bus from Washington & State  to Randolph & Michigan.

d) Walk east on Randolph to Columbus, and north on Columbus to the hotel.
